I donāt norĀmalĀly read psyĀcholĀoĀgy relatĀed books, but this one caught my attenĀtion and intrigued me a great deal. Iām an introĀvert, mulĀtiĀple Myers BrigĀgs tests tell me Iām an INFJāthe rarest of them allāand for a few years Iāve strugĀgled with how to harĀness my perĀsonĀalĀiĀty to work for me as a freeĀlance designer.
The book is a fasĀciĀnatĀing read and one which I recĀomĀmend introĀverts and extraverts read, it will help both perĀsonĀalĀiĀty types underĀstand each othĀer a bit more. What was most interĀestĀing to me is some of the chapĀters about the effects of our culĀture on introĀvertĀed chilĀdren and how that affects their abilĀiĀty to learn and progress in life. Also of real interĀest were the chapĀters about fakĀing extraĀverĀsion to help overĀcome some of the issues many introĀverts batĀtle, Iām still mulling over some of the strateĀgies that were highĀlightĀed, espeĀcialĀly those in regard to runĀning your own business.
This is a book I will be returnĀing to in the future, Iām already lookĀing to grab a copy of my own for such a time.
