I’ve nev­er read a review of a Bible before, so when Joshua Gin­ter men­tioned he would be post­ing one recent­ly my inter­est was piqued. This week I final­ly got round to read­ing his review of the Cross­way ESV Heir­loom Sin­gle Col­umn Lega­cy Bible. It’s not just a real­ly inter­est­ing read, it’s also a beau­ti­ful visu­al essay as well. I’m a big fan of Joshua’s pho­to­graph­ic reviews, and this one cer­tain­ly does the new ESV Heir­loom jus­tice. Hope­ful­ly one day I’ll be in the mar­ket for Bible like this.

The Sweet Set­up has spent some time look­ing for the best bible app on iOS. I’ve had a hot and cold rela­tion­ship with bible apps, some­times I find time incred­i­bly use­ful, oth­er times they seem cold and dis­con­nect­ing. I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve tried s num­ber of the apps on this list and could­n’t agree more with the con­clu­sion, in fact the two apps that I have installed on my iPhone and iPad are the top two from this arti­cle.
