Unusu­ally the second book in the Red Rising series kept up the pace of the first one. I’ve read some oth­er series of books which involve revolu­tions, and the second book is often a slower read act­ing as a cue for the third books final battle. Less so with Golden Son, and it included a few twists which I did­n’t expect.
